Buying a property in Southern Cyprus is very simple compared to other European countries. Cypriot law legalized a non-Cypriot to own one villa, apartment or house, but after joining the EU this limitation has been calmed in proportion to EU requisites. The official method is related to that of England, with the security of having a central land registry.   • Documents showing the economic condition of the candidates.
  • Sectional view of the building. Very old houses referenced on the title of ownership are relieved. A distribution plan must be given in the case of distribution of plans. In areas of suburban l development, the plan must be accepted showing the position of the house on the whole holding.
  • Submission COMM 145, completed clearly and fully.
  • Documentation of marriage of the candidate s or related verification of their Embassy and in cases where the other halves do not have the same surname and when the name of the husband is not written on the wife’s passport.
  • If the candidate is a Company, a copy of the company’s Articles of Association must be given in and written information must be secured on the company’s activities in Cyprus and the staff it employs, both Cypriots and foreigners with the social insurance numbers.
  • If the candidate is a company or an investor in an offshore company, it is needed to give in the records of registration, of investors and of the registered offices of the Company.
